Epic Quotes!

Churchx91 (Youtube user): "If you look into Diablo's lore Tyrael is actually on the side of humans as stated in diablo 2 but it's true that most angels are just like demons except they get followers through the Zakarum church. Where demons get followers through the promise of power. And then we have the necromancers which despite the fact that they summon the dead and make use of curses, are in truth the true protectors of sanctuary."

tarmynastyr (Youtube user): "If you look more deeply into Diablo's lore, you can see that Angels and Demons are both similar in one aspect: Violence! While Demons like Diablo and Baal prefer using violence directly, Angels are more shrewd and apply violence in the form of retribution. Do not be mistaken, Angels in the Diablo world are not those preaching love."

Comment: Yes, angels and demons (in Diablo) were never too different. They treat each other as enemy, they reach out to humans to join their forces, offer them power, divine or damned, in return. They are not symbols of love and hatred, they are not invincible, they are just armies who fight each other for infinite ages. An excellent example is the arch angel Izual who was eventually overcome by evil.

Lee Kuan Yew (MM of S'pore): "Mine is a very matter-of-fact approach to the problem. If you can select a population and they're educated and they're properly brought up, then you don't have to use too much of the stick because they would already have been trained. It's like with dogs. You train it in a proper way from small. It will know that it's got to leave, go outside to pee and to defecate. No, we are not that kind of society. We had to train adult dogs who even today deliberately urinate in the lifts."

Comment: I don't get why some Singaporeans are still unsatified with MM Lee, I mean, every politician can't escape being criticized, but if he can be studied by leaders of other nations as a role model, then he has been a successful politician. Maybe that's human nature -- always wanting more? Don't forget it was MM Lee who led S'pore through its hardest years.

Terence: "What are worksheets for? They are there for us to get scolded. When we do wrong, we get scolded. When we don't do, we still get scolded; There's no way not to get scolded because the worksheets are too difficult for us. So we might as well don't do them."

Comment: Beautifully spoken! I love this.
